I musei

Opzioni (contenuto)
- un’analisi di un dipinto / oggetto (esempio)
- combinare la descrizione del dipinto / oggetto (“close looking”) con la ricerca sull’artista, il dipinto, lo stile, il periodo, ecc.
- una mostra digitale a tema (da 2 a 8 oggetti) (esempio)
- introdurre il tema e spiegare come i dipinti / oggetti sono connessi a quel tema
- un “dialogo” tra due dipinti / oggetti in musei diversi
- descrivere ogni dipinto / oggetto e spiegare la connessione
Calendario (breakdown)
- Tu 5/5: Introduzione, brainstorming
- Th 5/7: Check in 1: topic
- Tu 5/12: Check in 2: first draft (writing)
- Th 5/14: Check in 3: corrections; mini-presentazioni
- Tu 5/19: Check in 4 (just with jvp): final corrections
- Th 5/21: Submission final project
Format
- You will give a title to your final project
- You will write a text of min. 3, max. 4 full pages double-spaced in Italian
- You will provide images of all objects mentioned in your project
- You will do some research (if needed) for your topic, working first and foremost with the museum websites
- You will do some minimal formatting to create una mostra virtuale (see below)

A few suggestions:
- VoiceThread (Blackboard)
- Powerpoint with audio
- a page on this website with captions (will provide log-in)
- a YouTube video or other mp4 file
- an Instagram story or slideshow with captions/audio
